How the figures were made

The hour is the hour of the scheduled departure time in local time at the departure airport. A flight that leaves late stays in the hour in which it was scheduled to leave.

On-time share is the share of scheduled flights that arrived less than 15 minutes after the scheduled time. A cancelled flight and a diverted flight count as not on time.

The comparison in the sentences leaves out the hours with less than 1% of the flights. The table shows the figures of those hours, which rest on fewer flights.

A program makes this page from the BTS files with fixed sentence rules. How the figures are made. BTS and TSA files.
