Corrections
On-Time Report computes its figures from Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) files without editorial changes. Most differences between this site and another source come from definitions: which carriers are counted, whether cancellations count against the on-time share, and which months are included. The methodology sets out the choices made here.
Errors introduced by this site
If a figure here does not match the BTS file it cites (a mis-added total, a wrong airport or carrier name, a month attached to the wrong year, a broken comparison), write to the address on the contact page with the page URL and the value you expect. Processing errors are fixed in the code and the site is rebuilt at the next daily build. Expect a reply within five working days.
Disputes about the underlying record
Carriers file on-time data with BTS under 14 CFR Part 234 and can submit revisions. This site cannot alter a BTS record. A carrier or airport that believes the source data is wrong should raise it with the Bureau of Transportation Statistics; a revision BTS publishes is picked up here when the month is reprocessed.
Removal requests
The site publishes statistics about airlines, airports and routes. It holds no information about passengers, crew or any other person, and no individual flight is identified. Requests that do not concern a factual error are answered with this policy.
