Provenance

Source: Transportation Security Administration, TSA checkpoint travel numbers, a US government work in the public domain. TSA revises recent days; the figures here are as published on the day of the last build. Checkpoint counts cover everyone screened at US airport checkpoints, including passengers on international departures and on carriers that do not report to BTS, and they count people rather than flights, so they are not comparable with the BTS flight counts elsewhere on this site.
